The plate with a bird and plant motif is inspired by the practical needs of the local cuisine of Lake Peipus. A 28-centimeter-diameter plate can hold a decent stack of pancakes. Or, a handmade plate serves as a dignified base for a large smoked fish freshly brought from the oven. The beautiful pattern creates the mood to place a full-size party cake on it.

The blue color emphasizes the local temperament, which has been influenced by the proximity of one of the largest lakes in Europe and culture border with slavic elements. Peipus blue color differs from the calmer Scandinavian blue in its strong character, which stems from its geographical and cultural environment.

The pattern on the large blue plate depicts four flowers symbolizing four seasons or cycles. Between them are birds that migrate between different countries and worlds. They come and go, as messengers, foretelling the coming of new periods and events. The plate with a painted bird and plant motif is suitable both in everyday use and to mark the most important events of the year.

The low plate without a foot is made of natural white high-heat clay, covered with a dark blue angiobic layer and engraved with a plant and bird pattern. A little red is added as an accent.

Because the pattern is engraved on each product by hand and without stencils, the pattern and color strength of the products may differ slightly.

Such a large plate is practical in every home. Can be used as a cake tray, fruit platter or as a dinner plate. High heat incineration ensures durability of the object in everyday use.
