The design of the socks has a functional advantage. The foot has a woven pattern with individual stripes with a twist. The pattern is set so that the striped sock is elastic and stretchy. This makes it easier to pull. If the wearer should be a little difficult to bow, an easy pull on is very helpful. In addition, the pattern also makes everyday socks visually more interesting.

The material of the yarn used is a mixture of white sheep’s wool and black dog’s wool. Dog wool is softer to the body, does not scratch as much as domestic sheep wool. The wool blends are processed into yarn with 130-year-old machines in the Süvahavva wool factory by the Võhandu River. The machines have technological peculiarity. They work slowly, do not pull apart wool fibers, so it does not begin to prick later and feels softer.
